Love in Action: Care Package Outreach

 

**Due to the weather our outreach has been postponed to Sunday, January 27th | 2–5pm**

 

On Sunday, January 27th from 2pm-5pm, we will be handing out winter wear and care packages at 125th Street, corner of Lexington Ave. We need volunteers and donations.

To volunteer to setup, clean up or distribute text Ahmad for details at 347-265-9606.

Care packages will be assembled on Saturday, January 19th.

 

Winter wear:

Coats (new or gently used)

Thermals, sweaters, hoodies

Sleeping bags and blankets

Scarves, hats, gloves

Socks (most requested item!) and shoes

Care packages:

Tooth paste, tooth brushes

Non perishable food and cans with pull tabs

Gum/mints

Bottled water

Sopa, lotion, chapstick

Hand warmers

Band-aids

Combs

Hand sanitizer wipes

Tissues (travel size)

Purses with sanitary products inside (for women)

Backpacks with undergarments inside (for men)

Friday, 1/11 from 930am-530pm

Tuesday 1/15 from 1pm-530pm

Wednesday 1/16 from 930am-8pm

Thursday 1/17 from 930am-530pm

Friday 1/18 from 930am-530pm
